For a second year running, we are thrilled to be finalists in the Medilink Midlands Business Awards. These awards celebrate the best partnerships between industry, academia and the NHS across the Midlands. We’re proud to be amongst other organisations who are striving to transform patient care through innovation and collaboration.
We are nominated for both the Advances in Digital Healthcare and Outstanding Achievement Award. This is for our pioneering partnership with Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care System. Our Clinitouch app is being used to support virtual wards across 16 digital pathways, helping to improve hospital flow and free up beds.
Patients are supported at home by specialist clinical teams, enabling better access, increasing clinical capacity and improving outcomes. It started with COPD and COVID-19, but is now being developed across 16 clinical pathways, including innovative new models that are the first-of-their-kind.
Winners are being announced at their awards evening hosted in the University of Birmingham’s Great Hall on Thursday 16th March, so fingers crossed! If we win either (or both!) of these awards, we are through to the national Medilink UK National Awards where last year we were proud to take home the Advances in Digital Healthcare Award.
